Since 2013, Microsoft has been involved with the ANGLE Project, helping developers run their OpenGL ES 2.0 apps on Windows. In 2014, we helped those apps run on Windows Phones by providing support for DirectX feature level 9_3 and the Windows Universal App platform. Today, we make it even easier for developers to use ANGLE in their apps by making ANGLE for Windows Store available in the NuGet store. Developers can use their NuGet client, such as Visual Studio 2013, and include a reference to ANGLE, adding all required references to their project.
We are providing NuGet as an additional option to today’s method of downloading and building source code! We’ve included a quick guide on how to get started with the NuGet package, speeding up your time to seeing results in your app.
